Greetings from the Special Education Department!
We welcome you to our department which is committed to providing quality services to meet the needs of children and youth with disabilities in the K-12 public school system. This district serves around 200 students with disabilities each year, providing special education and related services to meet each child's specific needs. Services are provided in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004 and the WY Chapter 7 Rules: Services for Children with Disabilities. Related services include but are not limited to: speech/language services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, student counseling, parent counseling and training services, psychological services, school health and nurse services, social work service and special transportation. Every school building has a team of highly qualified special educators, Para professionals, and related service providers dedicated to improving outcomes for these students.
