Board Meeting Snapshot 11-27-2023
Students of the Month for October were recognized: Levi Anderson, Isabella Requejo, Cory Bruegger and Student of the Quarter at Lance Creek School was Rebecca Iturrey.
New policies in the General School Administration section were adopted.
New policies were approved in the Instruction section. Policies establish a Curriculum Council and a process to change/adopt curriculum.
Revisions to Policy BDDA were approved on third reading. This policy changes moves the school board to one meeting each month instead of two. The meeting will be on the second Monday of each month.
Isolation reimbursement request were approved.
A revision to the WYVA Teacher Handbook was approved.
Creation of a part-time clerical position was approved for the District Office.
Norma Langston was approved as HS Speech Assistant Coach.
Reece Andre was approved as a HS BBB Assistant Coach.
The process of hiring a new Superintendent has begun as Mr. Mirich will be retiring in June.
