The Lady Tigers kicked off their season in Lingle with an impressive showing. They secured victories against Hulett, HEM, and Arvada-Clearmont, showcasing their skills and teamwork on the court. Although they came up short against a strong Upton team, the experience pushed them to elevate their game and build resilience. With ambitious goals set for the season, this weekend proved to be an excellent opportunity for the girls to shake off the cobwebs and start strong. Their determination and camaraderie were evident, setting a promising tone for the matches ahead.
Meanwhile, the Freshman/Sophomore team was making waves in Newcastle, facing formidable opponents in pool play. Their hard work paid off as they advanced to the gold bracket, eventually finishing in second place. This experience not only allowed the young players to showcase their talents but also provided valuable lessons and growth opportunities.
As they continue to hone their skills and gel as a unit, the Lady Tigers are poised for an exciting season ahead, eager to build on their early successes and tackle the tough competition that awaits them. Go Tigers!
