The NCSD#1 Board would like to welcome Dr. Penny Bolinger as the next superintendent of the district. Dr. Bolinger will begin duties July 1, 2026, on a two-year contract.

Congratulations to all NCHS Speech and Debate members this past weekend at State! Brecken R. competed in Humor and Informative, Anna R. competed in Poetry, and Samantha K. competed in Congress. Samantha made it to the finals but just fell short of the top six.

Reminder for Niobrara County Middle & High School Students for Tuesday, March 17th:
- If you are attending the EWC Math Competition tomorrow the bus will leave at 7:15 a.m.
- If you are attending the FFA State Vet Science Competition, the suburbans will leave at 6:30 a.m.

Do not forget that tomorrow (Tuesday, March 10th) from 10:00am-1:00pm our NCHS Student Council will be hosting a Blood Drive in the HS Gym. Everyone is welcome to donate. Students ages 16-17 can also donate, they just need a minor donor permit signed by a parent and turned in at their appointment. These forms can be picked up at the front office at both LEMS and the HS or found on vitalant.org. You can sign up via the QR code on the flier or contact Adele Hanson at the school to sign up for an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome. Please help us reach our goal! Safe a life and donate. Congratulations to the HS Boy Wrestlers today as they all placed at regionals and qualified for state next weekend! Keen took 1st, Grant took 3rd and Linken took 4th! Go Tigers!
